Co-morbid conditions

A co-morbid condition is one that occurs at the same time as the original.

For example, when someone is diagnosed with TS and OCD the most significant disorder is considered the primary disorder and the less significant disorder is the co-morbid condition.

Co-morbid conditions are also referred to as associated disorders or conditions or co-occurring disorders.
